These are Creative Sound System's P215 speakers built in a reclaimed American Chestnut cabinet. The wood has been reclaimed from an 1800s Tennessee barn. The trees were standing at the time of the American revolution and being old growth and untouched by solution provide a sonically and aesthetically pleasing mix. Old wood makes these speakers sound so beautiful. These "Historic" speakers will become a beautiful focal point in your home even when they are not making beautiful music. Being a rustic old product there are imperfections that add character and in no way affect the audio quality. I have created a video documenting the build and that can be viewed at this URL https://youtu.be/XbjwlAgwQzQ
